Accountabilities:
Investment Support Consultant
Verify clients’ details against information loaded on the system as per the quality internal identification process (i.e. check ID, address, and account related information).
Request proof of address from the client and/or identification in the event that FICA requirements are not adhered to.
Handling And Resolution Of Complaints / Queries
Record all queries received through multiple channels (e-mail, branches, direct from investors) in the manually created system with the correct classification for management reporting.
Send the query to the applicable department for resolution and follow up accordingly until the query is resolved.
Customer Service
Engage independently and consistently in ad hoc self-education on competitor investment philosophies, fund offering, fee structure by requesting information from the AFM product department.

Your Job Purpose:
To handle calls, resolve queries & complaints and provide unit trust product information to Absa Investment Customers.

Essential/Basic Qualifications

Requirements:
3 years Economic Diploma or an equivalent to NQF level 5
2 years’ experience as a Customer Consultant in a Call Centre environment
1 year experience in dealing with investment products
Knowledge of Collective Investment Schemes Act, S.A. Tax implications on the unit trust product, Investment/Financial Markets, FICA Legislation
Advanced computer literacy skills
No criminal record
