Purpose of the Role To provide a specialist sourcing service for the purposes of talent acquisition, through a process of appropriate channel selection and/or creation, appropriate sourcing techniques, market research and lead generation, applicant screening and engagement.
Source Talent.
Develop and apply innovative/effective sourcing techniques to generate a pool of suitable candidates based on a business requirement for a specific job/profile.
Create and maintain a database of potential candidates.
Screen Talent.
Proactively and continuously, screen specialist applications.
Acquire relevant candidate information and clarify key areas of experience.
Select applicants who meet the agreed job specifications to establish a talent pipeline to draw from when positions become available.
Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
Experience Minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience in:
Talent sourcing and/or acquisition
Telephonic interviewing techniques
Response handling and feedback
Sourcing techniques and methods
Market Mapping
Ideally End-to-end recruitment experience
Knowledge and skills Communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Client service orientated
Adaptable and flexible (ability to work with diverse client base)
Organized and accurate (process driven)
Pro-active with high energy and drive
Emotional resilience
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Computer literate (MS Office)
Additional Requirements Preferably, own transport and valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel.
Clear criminal and credit record.
